Our Excursion to Healesville Sanctuary

Posted by foundation | Posted in Uncategorized | Posted on November 11, 2014

On 30th October, the Preps all went to Healesville Sanctuary. We had an amazing time and learnt lots about the special, unique characteristics of Australian animals. As we walked around the sanctuary, we encountered keepers who talked to us about the different animals. We even saw two keepers taking the dingoes for a walk on leads! We all sat in the arena to watch the “Spirits of the Sky” show and we learnt about the importance of using toilet paper made from recycled paper so that we can protect the habitat of our amazing Australian birds and animals.
